Every piece that leaves our Bangkok factory passes through the same disciplined
sequence of stages. Since 1989 we have refined this process in-house, from the
first digital sketch to the final inspection. Nothing reaches a client until it
has passed every one of those checks. Here is how a piece of fine jewellery comes
to life on our floor.

## Design and CAD

It begins on screen. Our designers translate a brief, a sketch or a reference
into a precise 3D model in CAD. Every dimension, stone seat and wall thickness is
defined before any material is touched, which keeps tolerances tight and waste
low.

### From model to master

The approved CAD file is grown on a resin 3D printer or cut on a mill to produce
a master pattern. This master becomes the starting point for production moulds.

## Wax injection and casting

A rubber mould is taken from the master, then molten wax is injected to create
identical wax copies. These waxes are assembled onto a central sprue to form a
"tree", invested in plaster, and burned out in a kiln.

### Lost-wax casting

Molten gold, silver or brass is poured into the empty cavity left by the wax, in
what is known as the lost-wax method. Once cooled, the plaster is broken away and
the raw castings are cut from the tree.

## Assembly

Individual components are filed, soldered and fitted together. Clasps, jump
rings, posts and hinges are added by hand, and the piece begins to take its final
shape.

## Stone setting

Trained setters secure each gemstone under magnification, in prong, bezel, pavé or
channel settings. This is exacting work, where alignment, security and brilliance
all depend on the setter's hand.

## Polishing and plating

The piece is polished through progressively finer compounds until the surface
reaches a true mirror finish. Where the specification calls for it, the piece then
receives a plating (rhodium, gold or another finish) for colour and durability.

## X-ray and quality control

Before anything ships, it is inspected. X-ray imaging confirms internal solder
joints and casting integrity, while QC checks weight, dimensions, stone security
and finish against the original specification. Only then is a piece approved.
