Responsible sourcing is decided at the bench, in everyday trade-offs, long
before it becomes a selling point. Since 1989, Advance Manufacturers has
produced fine jewellery in Bangkok for B2B brands, and over those decades the
way we source gold, silver and stones has become as deliberate as the way we
set them.

## Metals: recycled by default

Wherever a brand's specification allows, we work with recycled gold and silver.
Reclaimed precious metals carry the same purity and finish as freshly mined
material, with a far lighter environmental footprint. Every alloy we cast is
traceable to a documented refiner, and we keep records that let our clients
report on the provenance of the metal in each collection.

## Stones: conflict-free and lab-grown

For coloured stones and diamonds, we source only from suppliers who can
demonstrate conflict-free origin. Increasingly, our partners specify lab-grown
diamonds. Chemically identical to mined stones, they carry full transparency on
origin and a lower environmental impact. We document every parcel so that the
chain of custody holds up to scrutiny.

### Supplier due diligence

A responsible piece starts upstream. We assess each supplier on origin
documentation, labour standards and consistency of quality, and we revisit those
assessments rather than treating them as a one-time formality. Partners who
cannot evidence their practices do not stay on our list.

## RJC-aligned practices and packaging

Our internal processes are aligned with Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC)
standards, covering ethics, human rights and environmental performance across
the workshop. We extend the same thinking to what leaves our doors: biodegradable
packaging, designed to protect the piece without adding to the waste a finished
order leaves behind.

In practice, a brand can ask us where every gram of gold and every stone in a
collection came from, and get a documented answer.
